My love of stationery dates back to 1990 when I started working at Union Street Papery in San Francisco. It is where I found my love and appreciation for paper, printing and the art and craftsmanship of a beautifully designed invitation. In 1996 I began working at Folio, eventually purchasing the business and moving the store to a new location in downtown Larkspur.

In addition to my love of beautiful invitations, stationery and paper goods, I have filled the store with a carefully curated, fun, and stylish mix of merchandise… a true reflection of my personality, style and humor. And then there are the greeting cards... I love my greeting cards because they are a terrific way for me to express my humor! There is nothing better to feed the soul than a good laugh.

I have seen many changes in retail and the stationery industry. I still believe the brick and mortar or ‘in-store experience’ is unique in that it is a place for us to escape our hectic, busy lives, to slow down and be present. A visit to Folio allows you to take a few minutes out of your day, peruse the store, pick up a gift, have it beautifully gift wrapped and be on your way!
